Yeah that’s right, in true Metro/Red Bull fashion the team waited until the last kick of the season to back into the playoff race. Oh and the best part being that we kept DC United out of the post season in the process. So now the team will travel a different path, thankfully, through the Western Conference. After 5 straight years of taking dissapointing first round losses to NE, DC, NE. DC and NE….the prospect of facing the two time defending MLS champ Houston doesn’t semm all bad. Especially when you consider we have split the home and away series between us the last 2 seasons and we match up especially well with the outfit from deep Texas.

Be sure to come into section 101 and be with the Empire Supporters Club this Saturday at 4PM to sing and cheer for the team. It is imperative that all of the ESC be there for this match as it will be our only home playoff match of the year regardless of whether we advance or not. So come celebrate the LAST home game of the season with us as we all wont be able to enjoy another live match at home for another 5 months!!!
