He has scored 36 times in a little over a season and a half as a New York Red Bulls striker and today has put pen to paper and committed the next 3 seasons to the club. What makes Angel’s commitment even more delightful is the fact he has not only performed on the pitch but that he has done so with such class…something his DP counterpart out on the west coast seems to be lacking these days.

“I’m very excited to extend my contract with the Red Bulls,” Angel said. “As I have said in the past, I think that the League is very competitive and is growing every year. Red Bull has shown me that they are dedicated to improving the club and the quality of the sport year after year and I am looking forward to be a part of it as we move into a brand new stadium next season.”
