It only took five tries but New York finally won a game and even looked sharp in the process. Hopefully the disappointing start is behind us and we can start to look forward to some much needed points to get us back into the thick of things.

First up is an ESPN Thursday Night Soccer clash against the relatively unremarkable Kansas City Wizards. As per usual ESC will be gangin up at our official away bar in New York City, NEVADA SMITHS.

So come and get stuck in with your fellow supporters as we drink and sing for victory. As always all fans of NYRB are welcome and club leaders will be on hand for ESC membership sign ups for anyone interested in mobbing up with us for the 2009 campaign.
