Well, the season ended way, way earlier than any of us had hoped.

But, while we mourn the premature end of our season, we can take time to look back on some of the successes of this year (and to plan for a better next year). Road trips to DC, Toronto, (Phuck) Philly and San Jose. Charity events for Joe Vide and Seth Stammler’s Sporting Chance Foundation. Opening a new arena, and rocking it loud game in and game out.

Look to our final game of the year, in the playoffs, when there were so many people crammed into 133, 101 and 102 that the aisles of 101 were full on either side, and it was like one massive section across the entire end of the stadium, rocking it out at the top of our lungs.

THAT is what we are trying to do, each game, all game long.

Please join us next year, as we start it all over again.

Membership sales are closed for 2010, but will resume in January for the 2011 season. Until then, have a safe winter, paint some banners in your basement, and dream of walking out into glorious spring sunshine, surrounded by fresh grass (the other kind), with a whole new year of memories just waiting for you to answer the call.

Thank YOU, for showing up, for singing, for going on trips, for volunteering at our events, for playing on our soccer team, and for being a part of the largest, loudest, and longest damn thing around here: Us.
