Bus trip is non-refundable, and if you are late to the pick up spot, we are not holding the bus for you. Please be considerate of your fellow fans and don’t be late.
The bus is first come, first served, and we hope to do 2 full busses. Sign ups begin Saturday, May 10 at the away match viewing and will close on June 5th at the Chivas home game. Payment is in cash only if you are paying in person, and we cannot hold a deposit for you. If you want to pay online, you can send $ 62 per person to escgear@yahoo.com and also send an e-mail to empiresc@verizon.net to let us know the name of the people who are going, and where they are getting on the bus (NYC or NJ).
For those of you who aren’t sure how this works, you get a round trip bus ticket and a game ticket in our section for the game. The trip is BYOB and BYOFood. The bus will not make any stops, so please plan accordingly and bring enough food and water for the round trip.
Also, while it’s always great to have a good time, we are not there to get horribly, stupidly drunk. We’re there to sing for the team. Please watch your consumption and that of those around you, lest we have to start limiting the trip to 3 beers per person or something dumb like that. There will be under the bus storage for coolers, in case you want some brew for the ride home.
Finally, you are responsible for the cleanliness of your seat. We’re not asking anyone to be Martha Stewart here, but the bus trip is not a contest to turn your personal chair in to a giant potato chip and guiness pig sty. If you leave a giant effing mess, someone in the club has to clean up after you, and that’s lame. So, don’t be that guy, and use one of the 27 trash bags on each bus. It’s not hard, y’all.
