USA v. Argentina

Sunday, June 8, 2008- 7:30 PM

Between now and midnight, April 5th you can purchase a ticket in section 101 for the USA v. Argentina game. We apologize for the short deadline, but we have no control over it.

Note about the section: If you are in 101, you are there to stand, sing and make noise for 90 minutes. No exceptions. If you want to "hang" at a game with your friends, there are other sections that will go on sale as soon as the week of April 8th. Section 101 is for passionate USA fans only. We ask to you to please respect the wishes of your fellow fans and only buy a ticket for 101 if you are there to stand and sing. There are 39 other sections in the lower bowl, plus 2 other levels of the stadium where all fans can sit and enjoy the game. Please leave this one section for the die-hard fans.

It is our understanding that after our tickets are ordered there will be a one day pre-sale for those US fans who wish to go by ticketmaster, and then tickets will go on sale to the general public (including those formerly in The Beat*). This is handled by US Soccer and is subject to change without notice.

About tickets:  

Tickets are $ 50. 

The prices are set by US Soccer, not by the ESC, not by Sam's Army, not by the Red Bull front office.

There is a $ 2 fee to pay via Pay-Pal, or you can pay in cash at the tailgate on Saturday, April 5th. We will be making a group order for all tickets after sales close at midnight, April 5th. We will not order extra tickets, and we are not making any money or commission on this sale. We are facilitating your ticket sale as a way to help guarantee that all local fans can have a place to stand and sing together with Sam's Army/USA supporters.

Ordering Tickets:

1. Send a paypal payment of $ 52 per ticket to escgear@yahoo.com by midnight, April 5th. Or, pay in cash on April 5th.

2. Send an e-mail to empiresc@verizon.net with the following:

- Name           - Number of tickets ordered

- Phone number (cell if you have one)

Once we have received the tickets, we will distribute them to you in person. Any unclaimed tickets will be left at will call under the name of the person who sent the e-mail/purchased the tickets. Note: You will need to have ID in this name to pick up your tickets from will call. 

We ask that only ESC members and NY-area fans purchase via this offer. All other fans from outside of the NY area should go via Sam's Army at www.sams-army.com, or via the ticketmaster link from ussoccer.com.
